Apology

APOD Being Restored After Disk Crash

Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) has been experiencing some unexpected problems. On one of the rare occasions when both main authors and editors of APOD (RJN and JTB) were away, the APOD disk apparently crashed. One of us (RJN) is back and is now working to restore current and past APODs. I apologize for the inconvenience, and expect APOD's main functions to be restored shortly, and APOD to be back fully functioning in about a week.
